it took me 3 ****en hours this morning to get to work from Rockford to schaumburg a drive that ussually takes 1 hour, and i was on I-90 a highway that is three lanes for the most part.

you'd think we live in Arizona and this is the first snow in 20 years, It snow here every year regularly from Dec. Through Feb.

people need to stay home or learn how to handle there car

End of rant.

P.S. I drive a Ext. Cab Sonoma, I don't drive a little front wheel drive wonder

For the record they did a shitty job on the snow this morning. I-290 was not done at all.

that shouldn't matter it was only an 1", 2" max by the time 1000 cars have drivin through the snow is pretty much non existent on the road way

if it was 5-6" of snow i could see that as an excuse

i had the same shit a few weeks ago when we had less than an inch that was melting the following morning. people were driving 25-30 in a 65

i drive an Avalanche thats 4x4 of course

WTF

It was about 4, but usually you see the salt trucks on the express way before the snow even hits.

and i'm sorry if you can't handle driving your car through an inch of snow then you shouldn't be out. People just don't even go out and learn how to handle there vehicals anymore or learn there own limitations. not to mention most evert one in the area has grown up here and it snows every year, LEARN HOW TO DEAL WITH THE CONDITIONS. theres a difference from being cautious and just being dumb

Happens everywhere first time it snows.

In Syracuse (one of the top 5 snowiest cities in the country) people forget how to drive when it snows, especially the first time. I can't stand it. I'm a very good driver in snow largely because I understand physics very well, and I love driving in the snow for some reason.

Same with Rochester, another extremely snowy city in NY. I can only imagine what Vegas was like when they got that snow a few weeks ago.
