Anyone have any experience with their subs. We all know their amps are awesome, but I have been looking at their subs and they seem pretty high quality. Anyone?

i picked up the 13kv.2 on clearance... havent hooked it up yet, build quality looked good though.

they sound good, but don't let anything happen to them, b/c that warranty that they print is only good enough to be used as toilet paper.

P.S. if its rated at 1000 don't put more than 800 to it

Well then, that makes up my mind. I was considering them over the Fi Q's but nevermind. I don't want to deal with a company that can't back up what they sell especially if the sub can't take what its rated at. Thanks all for the input.

my friend got 2 of the 13ov.2's when they were on clearence and they are very nice subs, good build quality and they get decently loud on little power and maintain good SQ. Good subs overall. Don't know about the 13av.2 but I would think it would be comparable to a W7 or something along those lines. Don't take my word for it.

My 13kv.3s sounded really good sealed but since they have a high failure rate, they "blew" and i never got the subs fixed. They are good subs for about 3 or 4 months then they might fail.

yeah i got a 16kv2 from pickup1 on here for $55 shipped so it was too go to pass up, but im not putting more than 300 to it, b/c when i first put in a system in my car, i have a 16kv2 on 450, mind you rms is 400 and it was from my hifonics amp which is overrated so it was just about getting the recommended rms and it last all but 3 days before it blew.

P.S. My brother has had 5 of their woofers blow, and we always keep the gains all the way down and give it less than rated. That reminds me, he had a 16 ov2 on 900 watts and didn't last 24 hours lol

wow..sounds like all you guys have had bad luck..I got 3 of the 13ov.2's for 240 bucks shipped when they were running the sell on the dual 4's..And its the best investment ive made..Im giving them 800rms each and they bang hard and maintain real good sq. I love ED's!!!

ED has alot of customer support issues but i still like the product(atleast it aint audiobahn) id rather spend my money somewere else but id still buy ed.
