Nice amp, I have owned one. Regret selling it, it does more than rated power. Price is about right if its getting shipped to you in the UK.

Hate to clutter this thread with questions, but hows the efficiency on these amps? I noticed on ED's website it claims it's only 64% efficient, which seems really low.

With a 2500 watt power supply design, being 64% efficient, they have an output of 1600 watts.

this amp is good. I have one (not using it) and got roughly 1400 watts on my electrical. its good because the power ratings are at 12.5V.

Some say they will run at 1/2 ohm, but it's simply not a very robust design so I wouldn't trust it for the long term.

I'm currently running one. Runs cool. The fan is somewhat annoying but my guess is you would have this in a place that you wouldn't hear it.

How is the efficiency on these amps? On ED's website they claim 64% (guessing thats @ 1 ohm?) Do you guys think my car could handle it w/ stock electrical, 105a alt, stock batt & wiring.

I'm running an ED SPv2 btw.

I was debating between this an the AQ1200D, so what would you guys choose for my situation?

get the AQ 1200. But either amp would do rated power and more
