Hi, I'm new here as you can tell but have been browsing this forum for a while so I know how it goes as far as searching being imporant. However I didn't find any useful information.

Anyway, I have a single Elemental Designs EK15 Subwoofer. I have a box that I had made previously for my last subwoofer except that finally blew (15" Kicker Comp FreeAir... yes pretty oldschool). Dimensions on the enclosure are, 3.0 Cubes (31" x 15.50" x 18") the vent dimensions are 3x16".

My question is any idea of what I can expect as far as sound goes, is it going to sound good, is it too much airspace etc? > It will be getting 500watts at 4Ohms bridged by a Kicker KX450.2 rated at around 510 watts when bridged.

Also it's going to be in vehicle with a hatch btw, as I'm sure that is an important factor with sound.

Thanx

Sonny

Didn't really want to bump this, but the Sub will be arriving in a day or two so I'd like to see some information on using a large enclosure with the ek15. However if nobody knows or has an idea, guess I'll just have to let you know how i goes.
