I have two of these...they're 6.5" subs.

I bought them brand new, only tested them once and then set them to the side so I could complete the box build for them--well, I never completed the box, go figure :|

Series : e3 - Series

Model : e3.6 Subwoofer

Avaliable Voice Coils : D2 / D4

Enclosure Size : Sealed 0.25 - 0.3 cF

Vented 0.5 - 0.5 cF

IB Capable - Yes

Rec. Power Application : 50 / 200WRms

Qts:.29 - Vas:22L - SPL:85dB - Xmax:13.0mm

Nice little subs! They have the carbon fiber cone, but the edges of the cone are a little rough, not bad tho. They were like this when I got them, I would expect better QA from such a reputable company, but hey. You can't tell unless you're right up on them, so I didn't worry about it. I just wanted the new owner to be aware of it. Hopefully I will get pics tomorrow! Realize too, that I'm being very picky. Pics will show what I'm referring to, when I get them posted.

They're $80 plus shipping from ED...I think I paid about $97 bucks for these.

Let's say, $75 shipped for the pair.

Thanks!

DD's are built to pound, eD's are built to sound good and get loud. I bet these meter in the mid 130's, if pushed maybe high 130's. I may buy a pair just out of curiosity since I don't know of any numbers posted.

???????

Would take in incredible box I suspect.

Anyway, good looking woofers for the right application. I have loads of this style driver or I'd be all over them.

man those are beasty little things. ever do any metering with the pair??? would you say these 2 together would get louder than a single 8''... such as a dd1508?

just looking for approximately, i know there are an infinite amount of setups that could change things, just looking for a general idea of what to expect. how would these compare to a jl 6w0???
I've never done any metering with them, and I've never had any other 6.5" subs to compare them to. I'm sorry I don't have anymore information to give...

I really wanted to try out the box you sold and use these in it...my box wasn't tuned or anything, just something I scratched out on a piece of paper to fit my space requirements...

I would keep these but I've changed plans (again) and I'm trying to fund some other new gear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It would take a dedicated competition enclosure for sure, but I think 130 is more than doable with two of them. Now I am gonna do it just because. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

well yeah infinite baffle is free air. I wonder how they'll sound in the doors.
I'm pretty darn sure Free air and IB are not the same thing.

IB is where you seperate the front of the cone from the back but the sub isn't necessarily in a specific sized box......

Free Air is where you do not have to separate the front of the cone from the pole vent/rear of the sub when mounting.
