Electro voice?

yeah they're popular out here in NYC..most of the setups i've heard sound awful though since people run them full range..any way to set them up so they can sound a little decent?

They can be used in a car. However, results are mixed, mostly because the speakers are designed to be used in a large box and a car usually don't have enough volume for the speakers to operate correctly.

they're used in rides too... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

beast being an example.
Beast is a terrible of how to do anything.

My co-worker's last job was installing massive sound systems in stadiums and @ concerts - they used massive *** globe-like arrays of huge EV woofers. I get the feeling putting their speakers in a car wouldn't be ideal from his descriptions of the positively gigantic cabinets they were installed in.

Look at the size of that dude next to those - and that's a small x-array. They make that scaled up into a full sphere.

Id caution against using full range pa woofers because they are designed to play a full range of notes rather than just bass so they dont necessarily have the xmax to play deep bass notes.
