Electrical Whine

Yet another thread on electrical whine, but heres my thing. I was showing my friend what music is like with out subs so I unplugged the sub cables from my head unit and weirdly enough the whine in my system went away. As I plugged them back in the whine came back! The whine is a constant whine though, if I accelerate it doesnt get higher and if I turn the volume of my deck up it fades away so it doesnt increase with volume.

Is this a bad ground on my sub amps? I have 2 sundown sae-1000's strapped.

Only reason why I ask before I do anything is because my amps are a small chore to get to and I dont wanna have to dig back there unless im pretty sure thats the problem!
