eight sony x-plod 10's

I'm a new kid in the forum and am kind of new to iasca competition. I'm in the advanced class 2 in IDBL with my eight sony xplod 10's in the back seat of a 1995 monte carlo. We built the boxes our selves they are two virtual technologies center port style boxes. each containing 4 of the 8 tens. All of this is powered by a power acoustic 1600 watt amp. Are there any suggestions to make this any louder.

Take out the back seat if you still have it in there, and wall it off correctly.

I would personally suggest a new amplifier, to start with.

Get an amp that does what it says, Not a 1600w PA that does around 900 RMS.

Look into an Orion 2500d or something of the likes

well, to be blatantly honest if i were you I would probably completely re do that system. Instead of 8 tens look into maybe 2 15's in a wall. If cost is an issue do 2 Kicker L7 15s, if not get some RE MT 15s, and maybe a couple of orion 2500Ds . that would be a nice little SPL setup. But if you can afford all of that just make a real wall with the subs you have and increase your power.
