The new Konaki sounds like the old HDC3. AQ had an issue with there first run of the HDC3 IMO. The spiders kept ripping at the triple joint. Might be somthing to watch out for on these subs...

oh, these subs are DUAL 2 OHM. it says it right on my packet of info for the sub and I read the coils, they are at 1.5ohm. Keep this in mind buyers. I notified the seller. Glad I didn't buy an amp yet

It was never really addressed but they did change the design back to the Old HD3 spider landing instead of the Spider landing like the new Konaki subs,.. I seen about 7 HDC3's all rip at the triple joint, That is why they stress to follow the new Break in procedures
