eDead v1²

Are there any other dampening products near or below the price of eD?

I for one see hardly any difference from brand to brand, just different thicknesses.

I was told by a friend that a good cheap dynamat is the hvac insulation stuff you can get at home depot(has foil backing and sticky side). I don't know how much it was, but it was REALLY cheap. Kinda the same thing without a brand name on it. I have never used this stuff, but it sounds like a cheap alternative.

I like my v1. I havent gotten to drive the car yet or hear the stereo though. So far almost half the trunk has 2 layers. Spare tire well takes forever. So far by hitting it with stuff, it seems much quieter. It will probably be better on a car with a little weight to begin with. My car is built like a tin can... and i think the best deadener in my case would be liquid lead... lawl. serisously.. the car weighs 2600lbs from the factory.

if that stuff is peal and seal its not worth fooling with it actually comes out to cost more than regular deadening... i would look into second skin... its slightly more expensive, but is worth it...

Second Skin. Also look into RAAMatt. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
