got my 60 square foot of eDead today for my ex cab s10. I was just wondering how many layers has every been using, And do some areas need more than others? What is the best application method and how easy is it to put the carpeting and pannels back over it?

My application is as follows:

1. Clean surface with paint thinner.

2. Cut material to fit in the place where you want it to go.

3. Apply the material ... if it's cool out, you can use a heat gun to help it along. Allow no air bubbles.

I find that multiple laters in the trunk and on the doors works well. I'd probably use most of tha 60sq.ft. inside the trunk and on the doors. If there's any left over, probably on the rear deck (if you have one) and/or on the floor or roof.

It should be pretty easy to get your panels back on. If your panels are held on by clips, it makes it even easier as they just snap into place.

At 60mils thick, I wouldn't put it on my roof, either. eDead v.1 would be my choice for the roof. The v.2 for the floor and doors ... maybe even the v.1 for the trunk as well. Anything like a roof, or trunk lid, I'd use the v.1.

I was kinda thinking that but I wasnt for sure. Yeah ... sound deadener will decrease it, if not eliminate it all together. Should help decrease unwanted road noise as well.

I put Edead V1 on the ceiling of my trunk. It hasnt moved at all i just applied heat with a hair dryer when i put it on.

umm i bought 60 SqFt for the trunk. I used 2 layers on the Trunk lid, floor, wheel well, sides. 1 layer on the ceiling. I still have some left too. Im gona put another layer on the lid since i still got rattles from it.

this stuff sounds pretty good and does what it is supposed to i guess, i plan on purchasing 40 sq feet of v2 and the 40 of v1 for my intrepid when i get my L7's.
