edead and secondskin

Well I ain't a dealer or a manufacturer....don't care to be. Only reason I found this site is cause I was looking for a specific amp, and google brought me here. So I thought I would check it out some more. Obviously you guys don't want new faces here, just keep yer lil boyz club reppin. Shame too, cause the scene would be a better place without people like you goin off on "newbies", cutting the throat of the industry.
It doesn't matter to me, I have a built-in disdain for certain companies(like eD), and nothing else will really change that. I've gotten by fine without them, no reason to all the sudden want them because of new owners. If they offered something truly unique and worthwhile, then ya, I'd give it a try. But eD definitely does not fall into that category. And I'd rather buy deadener from Don because he's been a stand-up guy from what I have seen over the years, and offers a very nice product.

Id have to agree. Some of my favorite companies to hate are TC Sounds, eD, T3, Digital Designs, and Second Skin. Won't ever change.

You should really look into Audio Wrap. You can get 12 sq. ft. for 40 something and it's the best stuff I've used. They're coming out with 10 mil stuff for use in roofs and things that need to be rigid too.

Stay away from edead. I've heard a handful few success stories, but not enough to warrant all the horror stories I've heard. If you want something a bit cheaper, go with standard Second Skin Damplifier, Raammat BXTII, or the Sound deadener showdown CLD tiles. Also keep in mind that 100% coverage isn't necessarily the way to go. Read up on the SDS website.
I emailed Don last week, got no reply. Nothing in my spam box. :-( should i try again, or does it sometimes take a while to respond?

I respond to most e-mails within an hour or two. If I see them, never longer than 24 hours for a first message. That said, I'm perfectly capable of screwing up. If you haven't heard from me in 2 days, I missed it.
