i want to get some new woofers, and i was thinking about getting 4 Elemental Designs 9Kx.2

i think those little woofers are cool

do you guys think that my current amp will be overkill?

id prlly put them in a 2cuft box at 30Hz

and are these overall good woofers spl/sq wise?

there's sooooo many good 8" drivers out today... why take a chance with such a worthless company?

the last 2 8's ED came out with, proved themselves shoddy, unreliable, and quiet in comparison to all the other 8's in their class.. I doubt they've gotten better, with cheaper parts, and questionable builds...

2 cuft tuned to 30-35hz would do a bunch of 8" drivers good....

Look at what is in your price range then comapair specs side by side. Try to audition the subs 1st in the type of enclosure you are planning to run then and only then buy.

I love my ED EU-700's but some people don't , they are not rolling around in my car like I am.. So screw their opinion.

On this site there is alot of hate toward the owner of ED so do not try to get a non-biased opinion of the product here. Good luck with your purchase on whatever you decide to go with.

yeah i want to go with some 8s i m looking for somthing that will take all 1600 of my amps watts

so i was thinking somewhere in the range of like 4-6 8's if that can be managed...

i kinda wanted to do 2 boxes paralell to eachother on either side of the trunk, would be kind of a cool not so run of the mill setup you know?

but yeah im looking for some definite advice of what to get, looking mostly for sq, but i dont want spl sacrificed for it...

i dont exactally have a budget, cuz i dont have enough yet ha ha i have like 50$ set aside to waste right now lol

but i was thinking around $200-$300

but i also need a HO alt ha ha but thats gonna come this summer hopefully
