this **** truck is horrible, lol. Everything was working fine with the stock HU on the 2002 silverado until we disconnected the power cable to connect the amp power cable. Now my friend said that last time he disconnected the battery, it did the same thing, so he drove his dads beamer all day, then he came home, started it, and it worked fine. Whats happening is the headlamps wont turn on, the hazards are flashing nonstop, the HU wont stay on, the car wont idle or run well, and the lights that do come on flicker and shit. I know nothing is wrong with the amp or HU, so it has to be the ECU. Is there a reset or something for the ECU on this truck? And also is a security led flashing non stop if that means anything, thanks alot... it is now 4:30 in the freakin am, so we finally gave up, goodnight, i hope i get some responses to my posts, thanks in advance

it just sounds like some security thing. honestly i dont know what to tell you. it just sounds like iut resets after 2 hours or so. maybe what you just have to do is install the amp and wait two hours....then turn the car on and adjust everything and what not.

Yea.. its the security. Supposedly people like to disconnect the battery in order to turn off the alarm and such... so the new alarms have some stupid gay thing that goes crazy when you do that. Try pulling out some different fuses, or disconnecting the groudn wire also. =shrugs= Thats all I really know... me = stupid
