I have never heard of these subs the 12k 44 and 14 do they have good SQ or are they just a cheap substitute that blows with in days...?

eD products are nothing less than amazing...! IMO The K's are probaly the best all around- best sub for the money around. And no they wont blow in a day or even a year, if treated right they should last a couple lifetimes.. and if ANYTHING breaks, u call them and unlike JL or RF ur going to be talking to the person that most likely built it! I'de highly recomend any of their products, as will anyone else that knows them.

hmmm would u reccomend them over the kicker comp VR's? or Alpine 1221's? cuz if they are these good they must be an un tapped gold mine.... must be a new company... where do u live by the way if i may ask?

yeh, ide say they beat those out.. eD is a pretty new company, and just introduced their new flat cone lines.. I am bragging a lot about them, i mean these $120 subs arnt beating a w7 by any means, but they are an awsome SQ/SPL mix, and are all around awsome subs..

would they be worth the extra 30 bucks cuz the kickers cost 89.99 vs 120.00 or can u get the eD's cheaper? how about their amps heard anything about those??

i would put my money on K's.. i'd bet my whole system on the K's... the K's would dominate in SPL and SQ over kicker.. 30$ is nothing compared to the difference you'll notice between the two.. when i went from my old system, 2 10's in a sealed box, to my K ported, wow.... i was severely impressed.. hands down and proprs to eD

edit: 120 is cheapest.. that is direct, so you arent paying a middle man for any markup price.. havent heard much about the amps.

the K is a better SQ driver IN CAR than the Shiva... overall... the old K's were a closer match, and still came up ahead in vitually every head to head comparison

Well, i'd beg to differ on the spl abilities of the k's compared to the comp vr's. With relatively the same amount of wattage i beat a guy running 2 15" comp vr's at a comp i went to about 3 weeks ago...and my setup is in my signature. (12k's) So, there's a real life experience that verifies that the k's are a great sub...plus they sound good too, like mgaidica sed quite possibly the best all around sub for the money. PLUS, the k's a currently $20 off...b/c the baskets on them are dark grey(like charcoal) instead of silvery grey. peace
