I wonder why there is so many people happy with the ED products? Including me.. Guys can you not try to avaid bring the same crap up time after time? Why do you continue to attempt to turn people against a company that is making incredable progress in the flavor of customer satisfaction?

He is claiming Tangband, and upstanding company with it's own engineers and buildhouse, stole his design. Then he continues to slander the company.

Read my statement again. I said nothing about the source of ED's gear. I did say customer satisfaction though. I have been using ED stuff for well over a year now and have had a great time with the gear as have many other people. NO I was not around wen some of the "Shady Stuff" was going on so I cannot speak from those time periods nor can I talk about those events. On the otherhand in the time period that I have been around ED gear and the "ICIX" board I have seen and heard of few problems and fast resolution of those few problems. No matter what ED brings to the market I think you specific few will do your best to try to rub them in the dirt. I am in no way connected to ED and only run the gear so don't try to say I am under the table with Ben. The comments about him as a person are in Poor taste and maby those of you that talk about him like you do should grow up a little (may take a few yars for you to do so though)

A message for those that are considering trying ED gear, Don't ask about them on this forum and don't ask about them on ICIX, Go somewhere else and see what other people think but beware of the people like these above that google ED or Ben's name just to talk bad about them. You could also buy the gear and then sell it if you don't like it.

But once again, I as a consumer will continue to buy ED gear for the following reasons, Price, Service, Product selection, and a company that is asking the consumers what they like openly and creating those products and I give a **** where they source their parts, they can dig the basket out of your trash as long it does what they say it will do.

I'm basing Ben's slandering of Tangband. Ben saying that his 6.5's have WAY more Xmax than they actually do. Ben saying he builds his own woofers. Ben playing engineer on the internet. Ben claiming his amps are putting out these unrealiztic numbers. Ben taking preorders that are longer than the run of a product. Ben taking preorders and people never receiving product. Ben keeping his consumers in ISUX as blind as ever with his extreme censorship. Ben bashing other companies with superior products. Ben saying that his woofers are different than other companies when they are in fact, not. Ben saying he specially developed his old asfault sound deadening when it was, in fact, the equivilant of peel and seal. Ben trying to not honor warranty at all and blameing the consumer for woofers that showed up broken.

Would you like me to continue?

He almost refused to honor warranty and tried to act like I had no idea how to hook up a speaker. In the end I got the money back and went with 4 RE 8's.

When I posted about it on ISUX the post was removed and my IP banned. This was the 2nd time. The first time I disagreed with one of Ben's cronies when he said that upper bass problems (90-150Hz) would be best fixed by upgrading ot eD's next best line. I reccomended that he get new midbass. Next thing I know my IP is banned. The 3rd time my IP was just banned for saying I have doubts that Tangband stole ben's design. They acted like I hadnt read the thread and then banned my IP.

Yeah, that is a good company to deal with.

David i know your on celicatech...but the reality of the situation is Ben has no sort of business ethics or any sort of consideration for anybody and has bent over more buildhouses and OEM businesses then your local crack ***** on the street corner has on a good saturday night. To this date i believe he is the ONLY brand to successfully go through every single american OEM warehouse bashing and claiming that what they did was wrong and was faulty designs pointing fingers at them (when he did the "designing" himself...funny huh?) , and has moved on to the land of China, which i figure the screwing and finger pointing and blaming everything on buildhouse defects will continue to happen.

The OEM community is a very close nit group of people, once you've screwed one of them over...everybody knows how you conduct business and nobody tends to want to do business with you any longer.

You may enjoy is products, and i'm glad that you do. The fact of the matter is that Ben and his antics don't fly anywhere but his own little world on icix.

I stand behind tangband 110%, very good people there, with an impeccable track record. I wish i could say the same about Ben.

If I had to speculate what actually is going on was Ben had Tangband's buildhouse design him a prototype. He hyped it, decided to make a product run and Tangband had already put it into production so now he is claiming Tangband 'stole' his prototype design.

Believe a company that has an impeccable track record and is very well established and respected in the industry who actually does make **** near everything in house.

Or

Believe a company who has a very questionable track record and changes its mind at the drop of a hat before the pre-orders are over the new v.323413z^3 version is out.

I have to say I don't remember ben saying TB stole his design, He did however say that the builder shared the design causing him change some of the design features. I guess it goes back to the old saying, there are 3 sides to each story, the 3rd is the truth in the middle.
