i am looking into getting 2 16Ov.2's each to be powered by a NINe.1 amp.

Is this a good setup?

If you think it is not, could you tell me what u think is better for around the same price?

Im looking for my subs to have good SQ but, i also want it to hit hella hard for all those a**holes who make it a big deal wen my music isnt up half as loud as it goes

eD makes really solid amps.. and you can't go wrong with their 3 year warranty. I know for a fact that their amps are all under-rated.. and have that built in fan to keep em cool..

Subs.. I have no clue.. but if i were you.. i'd get the eD NINe.1 and get your subs elsewhere //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The amp is alright...the Ov.2s are some what decent, but I wouldnt want them in my setup! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Just to clarify a couple things, The only eD amp with an internal fan is the mono block Nine.1. Another point I'd like to make, just because someone hates a company, doesn't mean that company's products ****.

The Ov2s are solid subs, with very high efficiency, good to great SQ. I've yet to hear of anyone being unhappy with an Ov2 driver (in a properly designed box of course, not a tree stump lol).

I think two Nine.1s would be overkill, as a single Nine.1 will push two dual 4 ohm Ov2s with around 700+ watts each. Sealed, or vented would be awesome IMO.

for an sq set up the ov.2 would be nice, i had a pair of 13ov.2 and wasn't really impressed by them, i had a box made up from what the recommended.... like said before, amp is solid but if your looking for loudness from a setup then i would look else where, i would look into the type r's, possible RE SE or SX, ive been looking at the new Dayton audio HO subs that came out, here is a link http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~acoustic/products/subwoofer_drivers/dayton_rs12/

from what the specs are they aren't bad for a 130 dollar sub
