ED preorder results?

Actually, it says EXPECTED delivery date. Not GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATE. If it said guaranteed, you'd be right. It doesn't though. I guess people can't read...
Know what reputible companies do? They dont tell people the product is coming until they have it in their hands and have it in stock to ship out. That way, people dont jump on a "bandwagon" of personal experience that was just never talked about.

Really? I don't think I said that. However, if you think ESTIMATED delivery and GUARANTEED delivery are the same thing, you are a moron.
It's not how YOU interpret the website, its how consumers interpret the website. When it says "expect to have it in your hands by July 1st" it is widely taken as "I am gonna have my sub on July 1st, maybe earlier.

it does to me too.. maybe another dan that works at adire? thats what he told me.. i wasnt listening on the phone or anything. i wouldnt think dan wiggins answers the phone either. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif we called at about 3ish our time which is 12pm your time. i was there for the phone call. he also ordered koda midbasses and they didnt show either. he said when he called back to reorder the subs they were out of koda midbasses ( i wasnt there for that call).
Nope, just one Dan works here, and that's me...
Note that dealers can call and reserve product/ask for stock status, but they must either e-mail or FAX a purchase order to complete the transaction. We've had this policy in place for quite a while. You must put down your order on paper, since it eliminates any chance of errors (typically dealers/distributors order large quantities at once).

It's quite possible they called, asked for product, were told it was available, and then never sent in the paperwork to finish the order. It was sitting pending confirmation...

PS: I never answer the phone - you'll talk to Brittany or Chris first, not me. And I don't take orders...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If they didn't realize this they must have received an F in every Marketing class they took. Their distribution technique sucks. Marketing would also tell you don't play with your customers through wording or you just might lose them. Remember customer satisfaction is key.

there you go... he just called it in. i wish i would have known about this policy because it would not have caused a delay.. but i guess its the dealers fault for not doing it. thanks for the update. maybe ill school the dealer when i pick up the subs about the written orders. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. hopefully the order did go through this time because im sure he just called in again.. he didnt mention anything about faxing or emaling you guys.

That's why it's called a "preorder". Perhaps you should look up what that word means? MANY companies utilize preorders. This allows the company to get a better price on the drivers, and allows them to better gauge how many they need to stock.

How I interpret it? It's right there in the picture. It clearly says EXPECTED, which means that it is an ESTIMATE. Let me post the definition of EXPECTED and EXACT, so your confusion can be solved.
ex·pect ( P ) Pronunciation Key (

)

v. ex·pect·ed, ex·pect·ing, ex·pects

v. tr.

  1. To look forward to the probable occurrence or appearance of: expecting a telephone call; expects rain on Sunday.
  2. To consider likely or certain: expect to see them soon. See Usage Note at anticipate.

    es·ti·mate ( P ) Pronunciation Key (

    )

    tr.v. es·ti·mat·ed, es·ti·mat·ing, es·ti·mates

  3. To calculate approximately (the amount, extent, magnitude, position, or value of something).
ex·act ( P ) Pronunciation Key (

adj.

  1. Strictly and completely in accord with fact; not deviating from truth or reality: an exact account; an exact replica; your exact words.
Notice the difference? Might want to try picking up a dictionary every now and then so you don't get confused by dramatically dissimilar terms...

Hey there Captain Literacy, I said consumers, NOT YOU is what counts. I've had plenty of customers that take "it'll be done at 6" as "call me at 4 because it should be done".
