I'm going to be ordering a NINe.1 tomorrow. I hope it is going to be worth the wait, I don't want to buy a JBL amp, my friend has had too many troubles w/ them.

The only problem with the JBL is the lack of a subsonic filter, and the shotty X-overs. Also, it's been known to clip every once in a while...

Other than that, it's a great amp for the $$...

However, I think the nine.1 will blow it away, once it comes out...

It's got nice bass. Some songs don't hit all that great, but the majority do. All of his CD's are awesome, I love Talib, I am officially obsessed with him.

What are you guys talking about when you say, when it comes out. On the site it says that it would be shipped like mid april or something like that. When does this amp come out? What do I have to do and how long of a wait in order to get one?

no1 knows how long the wait will be. SO if you need it now don't order. if you can wait a month or so order it

well...I really need that subsonic filter if I am gonna put the SE's in a ported box, so I think I may wait. Unless there is another amp that has a subsonic filter and can give 2 12" SE's 600 rms

You really don't need a subsonic filter per se....just don't play any bass tests or anything of the like and you should be fine....and you can always get some Fmod HPF's if you're worried about it.

I emailed Ben about the NINe.1 that I pre-ordered in fuc*ing February, and he told me they are still at Customs, and any approximate date he could give me would be pure speculation. And this is just the pre-order batch I believe....so expect to wait awhile if you order one now....

how are these FMODS? I mean, If I put these subs in a ported box and I listen to rap often am I going to have a problem? Are these FMODS any good? to waht dB do they block out?

You're only going to have a problem if you listen to songs that has a dominant frequency lower than what your box is tuned to......FMOD's are basically subsonic filters, they dont block out any dB's, they are just high pass filters. If you have any worries about using a 1200.1 in a ported box, just get a pair and you'll be fine.
