Ed Nine.1 vs Sundown Audio

If you can afford either one I think that the pictures speak for themselves. The ED is a less expensive amp with good reason. There is nothing wrong with it but if price is not considered the SAZ-1500D is a substantially stronger amplifier.

Actually, the 9.1 is like $300 with the forum discount which can be had any time, and the SD 1500D is like $550 regular price iirc...

I've owned and seen people have a lot of different amps...

And, all I can say is that sundown amp is a bad *** little guy.... I would get the sundown over just about anything.....

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they come out with something even bigger.... Because, that would just be awesome.

NINe.1 vs BX1205D there was hardly a difference by ear.... $100 price difference.

The BX1205D was a tough little guy but I would never put one in the same rankings as an amp that has built a reputation like the SAZ has in such a short ammount of time.

No pair of Nine.1's has put out 40% more power over rated either.

not sure coolness matters that much- if you want to impress some 16yr olds on caraudio.com, maybe... that doesnt matter to much to me, but if thats what your all about, then good for you. forum "boners" ftl. the sundowns are supposed to be solid amps, though

ill bite the bullet and askwaht the big prob is with the nine.1

im not saying its a more solid amp than the sundown and the main reason i bought the nine.1 is bc of the price factor. if i had had the extra money i probably would have considered it more.

that being said, i remember when the nine.1 was all the rage on here and sounddomain. if anyone said anything bad about them it was the equivalent of a self ban. now it seems it was the saem way with re audio and im sure a million others and now sundown seems to be the new one. nothing against the ownder or anyone who owns one.

but seriously, what is wrong with the nine.1 bc if its sucha horrible amp i would like to know so i can get rid of it and get something better.

an dplease dont say stupid shit like ben's a bad buisnessman or whatever. i dont know ben, ive never talked to ben and i probabloy will never talk to ben. just like i have never talked to the owner of kicker, pioneer, eclpse, rockford, dei, jl mb quart etc. and im sure the owners of all those companies do shady shit as well.

again nothng against the owner of sundown, if i had the money iprobably would have bought one. and yes i do liike being able to pick up the phone and get hold of someone which is why i like dealing with re and id.
