ED K v.2 VS. ED O v.2

Well I was on ED's website today and saw they had the new v.2's out (yes I am prolly late) but what I was wondering, are the O's really worth the extra 200$? How much better are they than the K's? I was looking into getting 2 16" subs. I want good SQ, with a good about of SPL also. It will all be running on a 1500 brutus ported. Tell me what you guys think so I can order these. Thanks

I was told the new o's are approaching the old A series in performance. I think I'm going to pickup the ov2 series. But I'm debating because the price of college is shooting up in my area along with bridge toll and gas. I was thinking either 1 15" ov2 or 1 12"ov2 or 2 12" ov2's. I don't know if a single 15" in a sealed box will be loud enough for me. I currently have 2 10" last model k's and I want it to be as loud as those. I've been told that if I run a 15" in a ported box it will be louder than my 2 last model k's. What I'm thinking is maybe I'll try and sell my 2 old k's to someone around my area for like $130. That way I have at least some money going to 2 new 12"ov2's that isn't directly out of my pocket.

If you get 2 15" ov2's ed says that it would be overkill. But that depends on your taste I guess.

I'm REALLY debating on getting the Kv2's. They're better than the K's and they're cheaper...I mean it can't get better. If you get them - buy them preorder - cheaper = better.

yeah the new videos they got on their site are insane. I was going to get 2 O's 15" subs but I cant wait til augest so I am going with the SI 15"

yeah im 95% sure im gonna preorder 2 12 kv2's.

I already ordered 2 12ks and a nin.1. If you preorder be prepared to wait for a while. I think the k's are shipping in early July before the o's but I could be wrong. The v2's will definitely kickass, especially the o's.

Dang that's $400 bucks +, for two 0v2 15's. I don't think I'll be able to afford 2 ov2 12's. So I will probably get 1 ov2 15 sealed and run 800 watts to it a 1 ohm.

And that's preorder sale for the Ov2's? Jeez...expensive. They're supposed to be better than the Original A's if I remember right. They'd be worth it. I really think I'm going with the Kv2's now though instead of my Orig. K's.

Talked with a guy from ED. Said I'd be best off with the K's seeing as my limited power (brutus 500w).

Their rep, awesome customer service and that vid of the K's excursion sold me. Sweet Jesus that vid was awesome.

Two 12" kv2's will be hittin my door in about a month friends.
