I have an old worn out sub that it tried to plug into a wall outlit and all it does is trip the breaker. its a 4 ohm DVC dont know if that matters but I just wanted to know if this really works because i always hear about it and i wanted to get it on video just for th hell of it but i cant achive devistation!!

thanks

put it in the dryer outlet or the oven outlet. or a generator a 220v or more. Home theater amps only pull 10-15a but are 2000w and 120v. Or maby a neon transformer 10,000v+ (commercial use).

Jmac put it straight forward - he knows what he's doing so listen to him...even on blowing subs. Lol. Make sure ya get a video of it if ya can.

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...
