Eclipse Wiring Help (Subs + Amp)

Well I used to have my 2 12" Rockford Fosgate's Punch's and my 1400watt PowerAukostic amp hooked up, but I had removed them months ago. So today I decided to rerun the wires and everything was turning on and such but my BIG problem was when I put power to the amp, the amp would flash (has led's in it), make a deep whiney noise through the subs, and then the subs were pulsing in different directions opposite of each other. What in the hell could cause this? I'm completely lost on what could be wrong?
