Item(s) for Sale:

10" Eclipse SW8000 BNIB

Item(s) Description/Condition:

This is BNIB but I did remove the logo as I always do with Eclipse drivers. TC9 motor with a big copper shorting ring, and a very lightweight aluminum LMS coil. Sealed enclosures ranging from 1.5-2.25 cu.ft will be best. Thermal is pretty great on these, I watched a video of one seeing wall power for minutes on end. This allows for awesome dynamic capabilities for which I can attest to. I've been thoroughly enjoying one on a USAcoustics 2300F for the past couple years. Makes over 1k @ 4 ohm. This driver will challenge your amplifier so make sure to pair it up with one that is happy to run at 2 ohm all day. It would also be a shame to use this driver with an amplifier that has a subsonic filter. This thing digs down into the teens without any issue. 15-16Hz is insane in my vehicle. Even a SSF that is centered @ 10Hz is aggressively filtering out 19Hz and below.

These are older pics below but I will put some fresh ones up if you prefer. Condition is exactly the same (only selling the driver on the right with the plain cone).

Price:

$225 shipped, CONUS.

Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

CONUS only, please.

What's the mounting depth of this sub? I have a sealed box that is 1.67 cu ft internal .. And I have a sundown saz 2500 amp.. Also what's the hole cut out diameter?

Sent a PM your way.
Dang you Shane, I'm sitting here trying to unload my extra stuff and I just keep coming back to this.

So if running 1000rms to this sub, what's the largest box you recommend? And do you have any TC 12's by chance? All I see are 10's and 15's..
No 12's for sale at the moment but I would stay around 1.75 sealed with that power.

Hmm.. this is super tempting. I have an 88150Ti that I love but takes up too much room in my trunk.
Yeah, think it over. Those are two very different kinds of drivers but if you're after more of a sound quality setup this is the way to go.

Oh, this is your driver for SQ and low.
Hey buddy, I don't suppose you have a lead on a second one of these bad boys do you? I got a new car so it's time to change up my substage. I picked up a tc9 12 from you awhile back btw.

For shits in giggles, I have a pair of Jbl w15 GTIs I'm looking to trade. Pair of 10s or pair of 12s that like smaller boxes and do what this one do. Power will come from a mmats d2100.2

Thanks, I hope the TC9 is still serving you well! I haven't seen any others flaoting around but I can keep an eye out.

I ran it for quite awhile and then traded it to a buddy of mine who is running it in his home theater currently on 1k. I'm actually looking to get it back to put in the road trip car. Haha. How would this single 10 do in 1.8 cubes sealed on a mmats d2100.2 compared to the w15s infinite baffle?
