Eclipse SW9152 Break in time

Ok so after 5 months of waiting eclipse finally sent me my brand new SW9152. I LOOOOOOVE the way it sounds and IMO i think im done with finding another sub b/c this is it for me. I just wanted to know if anyone with experience with this woofer would let me know around how much playing time does it take for this woofer to fully break in.

Yup they still have them for insurance claims apparently. Since i bought it from a dealer even though it was on ebay they warrantied it. in fact they almost made a mistake and would have sent a Pro but was out of them

BTW i noticed in the other thread that they wanted you to go ported, sealed sounds great to me and gets crazy low, and I know it can take more power in a sealed box rather than a ported, so my input. I think everyone just want to get loud no a days and don't really care about SQ

yea Ive used it both sealed and ported so I know what it can do and this will be the most power I put to it so Im sure Ill be happy sealed, Im not looking to join comps or anything so dont need to be that loud even though the only time I got it metered was when it was ported and it did a 143 on my dash with right around 2000 watts.

I absolutely loved my ti, awesome sub. I wonder how eclipse still has some left, maybe they will sell them?????

they probly only hold onto them for warenty reasons because I know woofers etc still had them in 08 so eclipse has to be able wo warenty them if they mess up and there new subs arent going to be able to be used as a swap they dont even compare to the TI's.

I made it all the way to them asking for credit card info and it never said they were out of stock you may want to give it a try

yeah i found mine on ebay you just have to be diligent in looking for it. I saw a 12" 9122 for $90 shipped a few weeks back and it was in good condition apparently. i just lucked out by getting it online from a dealer, thats why they warrantied it
