any other subs that anyone would throw into that mix? similar salary cap. my amp's 500W RMS at 2 ohms...

So, is that about a $300 budget? If so, there are a few options.

You could stick with tcsounds (buildhouse for eclipse) and go with an rl-p from soundsplinter

An re se would save you some money and they are supposed to have pretty decent sq

Ascendant audio atlas looks pretty nice and that too would save you some money

elemental designs 13ov.2 is supposed to have great sq

There's definitely some more out there, but those are just the ones I would consider on top of the 2 you already have selected, which are both very solid subs.
