Eclipse sub or not

Same frame different sub. The motor/coil/cone/spider all different.Alot of sub manufacturers will share the same chassis to reduce production costs.
Sounds right to me, all I know is I remember someone saying that TC supplies eclipse with some parts

TC Sounds is the buildhouse for Eclipse

Not all that different. Maybe minor tweaks here and there, but the Eclipse Ti Pro is based off of the TC Sounds 4HP that you see there. Exactly how much is changed for Eclipse I don't know off hand (Warbleed probably would know exactly what's changed), but they aren't that different.

The Eclipse Ti Pro is the TC 4HP

The Eclipse Ti is the TC 3HP

The old Eclipse Alums were the TC7

etc etc

Oh ok thanks for the quick responces. Which one is better?
Between TC and Eclipse?

TC is basically custom subwoofers. And you have to know the right peopl to get them to produce them for you. The main guy who buyilt them left the company. When people refer to "uber woofers" that is what it s though./

I just thought I'd chime in here to dispell some sketchy truths //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

TC Sounds, Inc. is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for many home, car, and pro-audio companies who contract them to build their subwoofers. They build 'em, and the companies putting in the buy order re-badge the woofers as their own product. I should know, as I use TC Sounds for this purpose myself. Eclipse is still one of TC's largest clients.

Also a note to N00blet, I am guessing that you refer to Stephen Ponte when stating "the main guy who [built] them left the company." Just wanted to point out that TC Sounds has been in business for well over a decade and that Stephen Ponte only worked with them for about a year. He admittedly did make a much better effort at getting the TC name proliferated on the internet, however Thilo Stompler is the "main guy" behind the engineering for most TC sourced woofers, and he will have all the necessary information to recreate any woofer that has been manufactured at the TC Sounds facility in the recent past. But don't think it is easy to get just any custom woofer made, as not all parts are kept in inventory and small scale production is not TC's forte.

Just an FYI.
