I love 'em, I just wish they would have removable faceplates on more than just the top model.

If you're talking about recent models then Pioneer is a much better bang for the buck in my opinion but if you love Eclipse then go Eclipse.

My dash has the headunit mounted up near the top, in plain sight.

Having a non-removable Eclipse sitting up there would be like putting up a neon sign that screams "good stuff inside, steal it now! .

Even if the Eclipse cant be used after its stolen, the rest of my system could.

The actual waranties are longer like 2 or maybe even 3 years but I think the theft thing is only 1 year.
