Eclipse CD7100 Help

I've got a flash drive with a bunch of music files on it. I've got folders labeled by artist name and then folders labeled by CD title inside. I can't seem to get the text to show up properly on my CD7100. If not in the root directory (layer 1), everything shows up as Aveng~1 instead of Avenged Sevenfold. Does anyone know the proper way to label/sort so this thing actually gives me the full name? The manual is pretty useless in this respect.
