Hey, I saw your post about that problem you were having with the 7000 over @ the org. Not a member there yet, I just got a max so I was just lurking. I was wondering if you ever got it figured out though. I was gonna tell you that I think its the HU's ground and that when I put the Multi-Harmonizer option on with my headunit, I also get some strange high pitched noises coming out of my speakers. But that has nothing to do with my sub hitting so I doubt thats your problem.I haven't found it anywhere on the 7000, so I don't think so.
Hey, thanks for the concern. Unfortunately, I haven't had a lot of time to look at it yet, but the HU ground is one of the things I've got to check on. I don't have the harmonizer on, so I don't think that's the problem. I'll work on it when I have some time and I'll let you guys know what it was. Anyways aside from the babbling, didja figure it out?
GRRRRR... no CD7000's but I do have a lovely set of Focal Quad coil 18's here.....
Radio sensitivity is 15dbf so you can imagine its not the best..How good is the CD7000 at FM reception ?
How good is it with HD Radio reception ?
Yeah, but I would say it's at least equal to my Alpine which was IIRC 13dbf.Radio sensitivity is 15dbf so you can imagine its not the best..
Seriously?? Alot of the newer decks are coming out with them on board and that hasn't over inflated the cost of the newer decks either. What is Eclipse trying to prove with that?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gifHD Radio requires a $430.00 tuner (at least the one I saw), so I can't tell you how good the reception is on that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Naa, they're pretty much all "HD Radio Ready" and require the tuners to actually receive HD, just like with satellite. Take a look on Crutchfield.Seriously??
