JVC has figured out a way to make an MP3 player with HD built in for about $300. I don't know why the Alpine, Eclipse or Kenwood ones are so much dough, and so HUGE.

Yeah, that is a bit ridiculous, but the JVC probably skimps out on everything else (i.e. SQ).

Haha....it's funny actually....you can buy one of those JVC head units for $150 less than you'd pay for the Eclipse HD tuner.

Question is, how much does it really cost to add HD? Seriously, that seems like a huge amount of money, and the HD tuners are HUGE. Look at the Terk XM Direct, pretty small. Ditto the Sirius Connect pieces. I just don't really get it at this point.
