Eclipse AVN5435 need help

Hi, i bought an Eclipse AVN5435 and have a little problem with it. The case is that the Fucntunal buttons dont light up at night. I was wondering if it was something wrong with it or its probably an option. I went to Circuit City(were i got it from) and the one on diplay doesnt light up either but i know they do cause i saw a green lights on them when i went to look for them on google.They said it might be an option but to read over the owners manual but it kinda big . But please let me know if you know how to or whatever. thanks

i got the same h/u screen let me check mine out see if it lights up or not.....I had mine for a year already and never had problems with the buttons...I never really paid attention to that....lol

The buttons do light up. I've had one for years.

i guess it aint an option, imma take it back. Its a lil confusing too using the navigation, i need them to show me how to use it

I am telling you, it is an option. They probably just didn't hook up the illumination wire.

Yea they just didnt hook up the illumination wire. They Navigation aint that accurate either, it says my house is 1354 while its 1310. Anyone know if there like that or just because the GPS antenna installed in a certain area. Mine is installed in the front :/

That has nothing to do with the antenna. It has to do with the map software.
