titanium is for busting ear drums of the person 2 cars in front of you....my 12w3v2 is freakin amazing, way loud and sounds awesome

I ran two 12w3v2's at 250 rms a piece and it sounded great. They would hit if you wanted them to also

i think them P5 sonys kick major arse. they on sell too at CC for 150 for 2 go get it.

i haven't heard the new alpines...for all they know they could be better than the w3v2. the jl's are nothing special. and i've always been sketchy of eclipse's T/S cuz their xmax always seems to be so high, not just the Ti

Seems as though no one in this thread really knows what they are talking about.

I can't comment on any of the products besides the Titanium but it's easy to say that the Ti is not an SPL sub. It offers a great blend of SPL and SQ though. Regardless of how the engineers rate the xmax, it still performs, and performs great at that. The only downside to them is the oversized surround and the price for which they are sold at retail. Nowadays you can find a new one for $300 (15")

Now ighettoboyi, if you would care to inform us as to how the Thiel Small parameters make you sketchy towards the Ti besides the rated xmax figures then I would really appreciate that. maybe I can learn something new.
