Eclipse 8495 6x9's....

Okay so I bought a pair of these and hooked them up in the front of my civic in 6x9 boxes... nobody ever really rides with me.... so the space used doesnt even matter to me... however They are being ran off my crunch amp 4 channel which does 110 RMS each channel and 600w total so 150 per channel. The Rms on the eclipses 70 rms, and 220 total I believe. I also have my diamond audios in the rear using 2 channels from the amp. Then I have 2 speakers in the stock compartments of my car connected to my HU, when I turn to about volume 30 or so it sounds really **** good! but when I turn to 31,32... right around 33 and 34 is when it distorts....my question is...

Do you think the amp just isnt supplying enough power? Or do you think the eclipses just arent made to be really loud speakers?
