Eclipse 8454 vs Eclipse 8455

Never said I bought it off Ebay. That's where I happened to find a used 8454. I went to our local dealer to my 8455.

You said, "so I got the 8455 for 575 after tax and Shipping"

If you went to your local dealer, why were there shipping charges?

He advertises a lower price to "draw/sell" more, and adds shipping onto it. It was actually on sale at the time as well. $75.00 off.

If you use a ipod or external device, then go with the 8455. It has a very nice feature for adjusting the sensitivity of the aux input. Unfortunately, it still can't match the 8 volts with a very low input but it does a much better job than the 8454.
