Eclipse 8443 - the 4th pre-out ?

When I was pulling the RCA's to my amps I hooked up my sub amp to the pre out labeled "No Connection" on my HU, it seems to be full range (not passed).

What is it for?

An external EQ?

My setup is tri-amped using pro mode and I'm wondering if this can be used to power an external EQ for a set of 8" mid bass speakers in my doors on a 4th amp.

Can it be used while the other 3 pairs of pre outs are in use?
