Eclipse 8053 vs. Nak 700 I or II

I just bought an eclipse 8053 but the guy was pushing the Nak 700 (first version). I had a Nak deck in my ride back in the dark ages and loved the sound, looks and ergonomics (rotary dial). If $ was not in the mix - which one would you choose? 16v output vs. 5.

I like my 8053. Not sure if the nak has all of the control that the Eclipse has.. but I'll bet overall that the nak sounds better if the EQ's and Crossovers are bypassed.

always loved naks, even considered a cd500 before they decided to abort their release....but I've always been scared of their reliability record..

Nak without a doubt......the 700 is a superior deck.

Yeah thats true.. I've had more naks in the shop than in my car.
