Have A Jl 500/1 Amp And Was Looking To Get A Eclipse Sw815dvc Sub ( 15" Aluminum Series ) In A Small Sealed Enclosure. It Will Be In A Jeep Cherokee. Any One Have Experience With This Sub ?? Thanks !!!

heard the sq on those is supposed to be real nice.did u want spl or sq,although w/ 500w u dont have much choice in fully powering ur subs

I am currently running Eclipse Aluminums, and they are excellent subs, little $$ but worth it I say, I pund on mine constantly, 500 is plently but not maximizing the sub, but your not going to compete so the power is fine, and yes they are made to be in a small sealed inclosure, but get me wrong it will get **** loud if you want it to

Which is a better deal for general 60/40 loudness/quality, 1 15inch Eclipse Aluminum, or 2 12inch eD K's?

I want it to get LOUD but not sounds all distorted or messed up...if that makes sense..

i think that the K's would be louder by far but if you dont have much room you maybe better off with one sub. both setups will have very nice SQ
