EBP ??? Question

Hi i'm a little bit newbie, I would like to know if it is good to use sub in a ported box

that have a EBP of 27.47 ??? and if not why ??

I like loud and SQ sound ....

It's 2 Kenwood KFC-W3013PS

Generally a low EBP value like that is going to have better results in a sealed or 4th order bandpass boxes.

What is a 4th order bandpass boxes and does it mean that the sound will be bad in ported ??

A 4th order bandpass box has a ported section and a sealed section. Heres a pic to illustrate one:

Those woofers were not meant to be in a standard ported box and most likely will not sound good if placed in one.

good woofer = ported ;P

Not at all, some great woofers sound great in sealed. But for an SPL system you would want to go ported.
