while bidding an alpine blackbird 2 this evening, somthing interesting happened..

i got screwed by some prick.

so theres 2 auctions for the same unit from the same seller.

i bid on 1 for 380$

then this guy whos winning the other auction for 410$ out bids my high bid of 450$.

fine.

so I bid on the one he was winning.

then he retracts his bid on the one i WAS winning. and bids 449.00 (a dollar less than my high bid).

so now im winning BOTH auctions for way more than i would have if this prick had not interfeerd.

does this seem fishy to anyone else?

i had to retract my bid on the second auction which looks bad on my feedback and was stuck paying 70$ more for the item than i should have.

had a guy come in the last few hrs when i was gone and bid me way up then retract his last bid.. I got ebay to check on it, " not the same person " .. well no shit I clearly said he has someone do it.. ****ing waste.

needless to say though, I did put a bid up to on it.. and it was bid up to.. people on ebay man.. rip offs.

if the bidding was fair it should automatically go back to your highest bid before they ever bid...since they retracted to prevent scams like that...lots of sellers pull that crap...especially on no reserve items....

of course it wasn't the same person it was a family member somewhere else..how do you think they rook people and get away with it...i think that auto bidding crap should be illegal to use also....

yeah but then he bid a dollar less then my max AFTER he retracted his bid and knew my max.

i still think i cant get that gps cheaper anywhere else.

so if i send ebay a email they will;

a) do nothing

b) let me opt out of buying the gps

right?

ebay should make them sell me the unit for 380$ lol.
