No, one is a Diamond Tdx and the other a D9. Essentially the same woofer. I don't believe you would ever use a passive radiator and a port together, either one or the other. And OP, that is unless he doesn't respond to the dispute. Then paypal might let you keep it along with the refund.

OP the only way you wont have to mail it back is if the seller says dont mal it back. that sub will cost another 500 to get reconed. this sub isnt worth that much. you will get your money back but you will have to mail the sub back. tell paypal "if the kid says the subwoofer is fine and no rips thenill mail it back to him and he can sell it again" the kid new it was broekn dude. im in the same boat with a broken radio. the seller was taking too long to reply so i called paypal and they granted my claim and said i would get a refund as long as i mailed it back to him. if i was you id do the same thing but mail it back without insurance. youre allowed to do this! the USPS wont let you insure something thats already broken //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif so throw it on the ground a few times then box it up and mail it back.

trust me let him respond. did you file the claim the day you got the sub? and jl charges i think like 630.00 for a recone. id mail this POS back then check craigslist for a local deal.
