easy simple question

does the amplifier see the load "ohm" at the xover? or a the speakers?

reason im asking is cos i have Helix precision H236 in my kick panels & i have another set of matching midds in my door cards, & on my xovers theres a jumper that i can change to 2ohm or 4ohm, as i will be connecting the other set of midds to the xover.

also, if there at 2ohm is there any difference in sound quality? with the for midds in 2 ohm load? or is it better to keep them at 4ohm load?
