AND I'll be driving to Florida Friday/Saturday and can meet up with anyone who can get near I95 anywhere from Boston to Daytona Beach. Friday north of Richmond, Saturday south of Richmond...any time in the next couple weeks if you live in central Florida.

Sub is kind of ugly but works 100%, box is small and inadequate port area but is fine for moderate power and actually **** loud anyway...just there's some port noise at low freqs. The dude who sells the boxes on eBay gets 160 shipped just for the box, and it's pretty solid 1" MDF.... read the description on the eBay auction.

No bullshitters, I'll ask a 20$ deposit via paypal to make sure I'm not just lugging a bunch of extra crap on vacation with me.

LMFAO Yeah, right...Michigan... How are the oranges there? Should I wear shorts? JK, I hear it's beautiful country, but I have friends and family in FL.

Solo X weighs about 100 pounds and packaging will be more weight and a nightmare. Will be close to 90$ AND the box would have to be shipped separately and likely another 50$ or so....makes it less attractive.

Also IDK if I'll even have time to ship anything before I leave.

I also have a line on another solo X that I'll offer up here after New Years. Old model, but never used... Would be 350ish + actual shipping... Honestly if you want to shell out for shipping, drop the extra $$ for the new one first week of the year.... I suspect anyone here can build their own box, but it's pretty convenient if you can get it in person just to screw around with.

Considering how much gear I'm allready sitting on, I don't think I'd USE anything, but I'd consider anything I can flip on eBay. Gold and Silver bullion is always welcome. Xbox 360 or PS3 games (if I'd actually use them).

27 X 22 X 19 The 19 side will need minimum another two inches for the surround + excursion.

Unsure of the tuning, at a guess mid 30's. Very loud @ 40 and 50 not good for much below 30 as is.... Tried this in my car and a friend and peak freq was similar...thoough that doesn't really necessarily mean anything.

I promise you'll have a really tough time getting louder for the money.

Kicker reccomends 6 to 8 cube or 10-12 for fartbox.

Only fed it the 6KW for under a minute then pulled over and unhooked one of the amps....it handled a single 3Kd no problem for a good 3 hour ride home from picking it up.

Wish I could tell you. I should be getting a BTL soon to play with. Never played with Sundown subs.

ALSO as/is I'd say this woofer is capable of a lot more with a better box. It is very very loud and actually sound pretty decent at reasonable listening levels. The motor is enormous so it has plenty of force to control the large cone. Really it'll be totally dependent on the install, but I can say it can move a LOT of air and gets very loud off of not much power.

I tune my TC's low (for 5.1 surround/movies) so for example at

I had another one that I picked up from the same guy in the same box that I flipped to a friend locally. Running with only a 1200W JBL amp (the ones on eBay in the Harmon store purchased for 100$)...it blurs vision and skips the CD player in the 08 Hyundai LOL. I'll meter it when I get time just for laughs, but I'm really really burried in work before I leave for FL....at a guess doing 142-143.

LOL WTF am I gonna do with the box? Basically Price is for the sub, box is a "throw in". IF I lump this down with me it's coming in the box and I'll be playing it on the way.
