Easily running wires through door gromets, what do you use??

My door speaker wires arent professional looking, I went under the gronmet against the metal and just used a piece of wire loom to protect it. I just came across this tool on ebay that seems like it would make life a little easier

We seriously use wire hangers and bare hands lol. Not sure if you've tried or not, but disconnect the grommet from both ends, it typically makes it a little easier to work the wire through.

Unless you have a molex plug......they are a pain in the arse.

been installing for almost 20 yrs and have wired hundreds of cars with a coat hanger. unhook both ends of the boot from the door weave the coat hanger thru then use gorilla tape the end of the wire to the hanger and pull it thru. fyi make sure the end of the coat hanger it blunt ,no sharp end...

molex connectors ya need to pull the plastic plug out and drill a hole thru it.

the firewall in most any new car you have to drill a hole not like the old days where there was a huge rubber boot you could slide power wire thru.

wouldnt bother with that tool...

i use stiff solid wire, there is usually tons of that laying around, but my best friend is an electrician, like his dad was..... and wire coat hangers seem to be harder to come by for me.....but i don't look real hard for them.

i use twisted bailing wire (aka safety wire). twist it up, shove it thru, twist wire to it, pull. done.
