if you have the speaker specs, all you need is a capacitor.

its a 95 wrangler

All you need is a MFD33 Capacitor wired in line with the positive speaker wire. They can be had for pennies at Radio Shack. If that crosses them over too high try a 47MFD or a 99MFD. The numbers are aproximate (it's been a long time...)

my fronty had 3 wires goin into the speaker. i just cut the bass wire and the bass was gone. cost me nothing but 15min a speaker
