earthquake

I figure we are due for another big one like the one that changed the flow of the Mississippi River...I think that was in the early 1800's....Its been almost 200 years now....that was a little pre shake....preparing for the big one....

Yea I got wokin up at 4:38 this morning by The Exorcist style bed shaking.......i thought I was imagining till I went to work and everyone was talkin about. USGS said it was a 5.2.

Sounds like you have bigger problems than some broken wine glasses //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

Also, it IS quite funny to see you guys' reaction since most of you probably never felt and earthquake before...

center of it was in illinois just west of Salem, IN. I heard this as well and thought it was thunder. 5.4 on ricter scale is what i heard as well, but it was about 5:37 this morning for me here in Columbus, IN about 45 minutes south of the nappy city.

Meh, scientists haven't been able to accurately predict anything involving nature, especially not earthquakes. We're "500 years overdue" ... Who is to say that we won't have another major earthquake for another 500 years ?
Anyways, a 5.x magnitude earthquake is pretty mild compared to what we get on the west coast.
