ear pressure but I don't feel it that loud

you said you had it crossed over at 80 hz, i know personally i had just some weak 12's crossedover that high and i constantly got headaches, but once i droped it down to about 60 hz cross over i was fine and pressure was gone, could it just be that it's those higher ranges hurting u, specially since there tens, can you try to lower the crossover frequency
I'll try that tonight

What did you make the box out of? How did you attach the box together? Glue, screws, nails, all? Do you have any bracing? What you're talking about sounds more like ear fatigue, which is a side effect of enclosure resonance. I sugguest a new enclosure, 3/4 MDF, Double baffle, 120% larger internal net volume, lots of bracing, and a hint of polyfill.
x2 on the box

people really underestimate a pair of tens. mine gets my ears pretty good, but after a while you get used to it. shoot, it even flexes to roof pretty good.

just pay close attention to your hearing though. my grandpa is deaf in one ear from racing, it doesnt look like fun. hearing is definitly something to protect.

If he hasnt figured it out in **** near a year, chances are he wont.
Lets look at dates on threads before posting in them.

i did look at the date, my response really wasn't towards him it was for anybody who may be having the same problem, plus there aren't too many interesting newer threads. Most are the same "Will i hit 150 with this setup????".
