ear pressure but I don't feel it that loud

I just installed my 2 new re10 subwoofers sealed in a 1 ft.cub box each. I hooked a profile CL600 to power them up. It's installed on a little honda civic 95 hatchback and they face toward the back of the car. It can go pretty loud due to the space in the car. But my ears keep hurting even if i listen to it at a "not so high" volume. Each bass boom make heavy pressure in my ears and it really pisses me off. I can listen to musics in clubs and other people's car without having this sensation of pressure...

You guys know what could cause that? Is it just that the car is too small or could it be dampening?, I don`t know. Box size maybe?

After a while my ears are like blocked when i go out of the car.

Maybe it`s just that I listen to it too loud but I don' feel it that loud.

Be careful with your hearing...it's the only one you get...

Get a friend to go in the car with you, ask him if he feels the same sensation, and see if he thinks it is loud or not.. If not, then your hearing is going man...

Yup, things dont' always seem loud. That's why so many people have hearing damage, they don't realize how loud it is until they either a.it hurts b.they begin to go deaf.

Yeah one of my friend feels the same as me when he gets in the car. I'll try get a db sensor to be sure i don`t go to loud, I really dont wanna go deaf !! This thing doesn't regenerate

What I'm not understanding is why I can't stand the pressure and most people can't stand it too in my car and some people can stand an XXX 15" sub. I can listen to hit to 10/30 on my stereo and there is still pressure popping in my ears.

It doesn't matter, maybe he's a lot more sensitive to it than most, or has sustained a past injury that leaves him sensitive to it...

The bottom line is, if it's too loud for you than it doesn't matter what anyone else says - you know your own pain limits and how to take care of your hearing.

But he said his friends expreience it too when they are in his car. So that rules out him being sensitive, he also said that he can listen to loud music in clubs and in others cars.
