I doubt I can get a pic of of the sub reaching xmax. No tripod, and I can't slow down shutter speed on the digi cam.

really? Hmmm... try switching off the flash and your shutter will open a tad longer. Or as snova says, play a tone and you'll be able to catch it moving. I could get my old RF subs moving with 30Hz...no audible sound, but it moves like a mofo. Might be a while, I got the sub today but probably won't get the amp until Monday, at the earliest. Installed sometime next week.

I was thinking about a 2.5~3cuFt (before displacement) ported at about 30~35Hz. After ports, I think I can only squeeze roughly 2CuFt. Think I'll have to go your path of disliking my boot and filling it up with a box....

No, it hasn't got here yet. I know it got processed on Monday, but it's hard to tell if Avionixx shipped it that same day, and I didn't get a tracking number with my order so I can't tell what's going on with it.

Hopefully it shipped the same day the sub did, if that is the case I would expect it here by Monday at the latest...

BTW, Paikiah...I can get a very short vid. clip of the sub playing once I have it installed. I have between 5 and 10 sec. of video on my camera, so I'll get something for ya, if I can get enough lighting.

Snipe, the fact that you have it in your Hyundai is perfect~ Would it be possible for you to take a pic of the boot, with at least one tail light in the picture? Koreans tend to be very skeptical of things, so I'd need some sort of proof if I decalre that the subs are in a Sonata.

 

btw, as for the dimensions of the box, did you build the box accordign to ED's blueprints, or was it a custom size?

Yeah the box is built to ED specs. I have to work twelve hours each of the next two days so I wont have time to get pics. Check my site on Saturday or Sunday and I will try to have more pics. I will get a tail light or maybe just the whole rear end of the car in atleast one pic for ya.

i got my two e12k's in two week days from ups, and my avionixx in 4 week days from ups, just got the 800.2 just a couple of hours ago. can't wait till the wiring kit gets here, i hope its sitting on my dad's door step when i get home so i can start installation.
