E120 vs. SE 12

I am looking for a good sub, i have heard good and bad things about the SE 12's, and i have only heard good about the E120 (o series e design). i was just wondering what everyone thinks about the two. if anyone has any other sugestions i would like to hear them. thanks alot for the imput...

they both are Awesome subs for daily driving. What have u heard bad about SE's? If u want more SPL with good SQ go with SE's in a ported box. If u want lots of SQ and still getting loud get the O's...which only can be used in a sealed box.

i want the best i can get out of both... i want the spl, but i dont want it to sound all crappy. but at the same time i do want it to hit really hard. they are going in the back of a civic, so give me your best suggestions.. thanks alot

The SE will get louder then the O mainly b.c it can be used in a ported enclosure. You could get the SE and build a ported enclosure tuned low like 28ish and it would have really good SQ with kick *** SPL tune higher for more SPL less SQ....In a single sub setup where SPL mattered i would go SE (not saying the O wont get loud just that the the SE will get louder and still have good SQ, not as good as the O's SQ but better tehn a lot of subs)
